Walking for Talking partners with the Montgomery County School District in Maryland, where Coach V serves as Parent and Family Coach for the Together We STILL Thrive program.
This initiative is all about empowering families, uplifting voices, and building stronger communities. Together We STILL Thrive creates a safe and supportive space for parents, especially those from minority communities, to connect, grow, and gain the tools they need to help their children shine in school and beyond.
At Walking for Talking, we believe when families are supported, children succeed, schools flourish, and communities thrive.
What an awesome way Believe. Move. Grow.
At Walking for Talking, our mission has always been to Believe. Move. Grow. in ways that create lasting impact for our communities. This support represents more than collaboration it’s about standing with a foundation dedicated to advocacy, education, and building resources that bring hope and relief. Together, we aim to strengthen awareness, expand outreach, and help create healthier futures for those living with sickle cell.
We invite you to join us in supporting this important mission. Stay tuned for updates on our joint initiatives, events, and opportunities to get involved.
Because when we come together, we move further, and we grow stronger.
